iOS 16, the next major release of the iPhone’s operating system, has incorporated a redesigned lock screen that can be customized, and this coincides with predictions that luxury iPhone 14 pro versions might have an always-on display.
This feature is already built into the Apple Watch Series 5 and later models. It lets you see quick information like the time even when the watch is locked. According to rumors, the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max will have an upgraded LTPO display compared to their predecessors, allowing the refresh rate to drop to 1Hz from 120Hz.
While a high refresh rate benefits games and films, it is useless while viewing static material. The refresh rate of the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max can only be reduced to 10Hz, which explains why they lack an always-on display our facebook page.
According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple has been working on the iOS 16 lock screen interface for a few years, and it will go “hand-in-hand” with the always-on functionality of the iPhone 14 Pro.

According to rumors, this year’s iPhone range will feature the 6.1-inch iPhone 14, the 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Max, the 6.1-inch iPhone 14 Pro, and the 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Pro Max.
A new processor based on 5nm technology will be exclusive to the Pros. Even if the battery in the Pro Max is a little smaller than its predecessor’s, it is still likely to last longer.
